Government Printing Works Visitor Access Control

Security Procedures are:

  1. Particulars of visitors will be recorded manually or electronically. Safekeeping of this information will be done in accordance with POPIA.

  2. No positive identification, such as an SA ID, Driver’s Licence or Passport, means no entry will be allowed.

  3. Searching is a condition that applies to persons, vehicles, bags and luggage upon entering and leaving the premises.

  4. Visitors must always be escorted by a host or security official.

  5. During an emergency situation, the visitor must follow their host.

  6. Private visitors and meetings are not allowed.

  7. Parking is at your own risk.

  8. All persons must comply with prohibited and declarable item rules at all times.
